So In Love

So since Mom gets to work out of the house the majority of the time, she still has to come back to IA once a month for a week to work in the office.  Since Dad's schedule is pretty crazy too, Kellen and I always go back with her!
Well when we were back in December, Mom decided we needed a little Mommy & Daughter playdate!! She let me pick anything I wanted to do! So what do I choose...
Ball outside in the backyard, of course! There is no better playdate than playing ball on a cold, breezy day...for me at least!! And it wouldn't be a true playdate unless we took selfies!!
"Uh Mom you're squeezing me a little too tight..."
 "Scratch my belly, Mom!!

Then of course, since I am a Daddy's girl, I wanted to FaceTime Dad to say hi!!
It gets to be a long week when I'm away from Dad! I always help him study in the mornings while he has his morning cup of Joe! We always look forward to being back together, but let me tell you...this FaceTime thing really helps!!

Technology these days! :)

The NEW Betty Crocker

Since I wasn't able to share my stories the past month, I'm just going to reminisce on all the great things that took place!

First up...Cookie Baking!
We decided to come to Grandma & Grandpa Klein's about 4 days before Christmas! Why you ask?! Grandma's house is decked out in Christmas decorations, smells like Christmas, and we had some major cookie baking to do!
Mom, Dad and I baked 4 different kinds of cookies! Kellen...well he was sleeping, what a cowincidence! :)
I was stoked for the PB star cookies! I always get to lick the PB measuring cup! Mom says that's enough, but then Dad snuck me the spoon too! We're like two little kids at heart!
"Dad, those are some great looking cookies....you sure we can't eat them now?!"
Dad and I are quite the bakers when it comes to Christmas cookies!

Mom on the other hand...

She just wants to take the pictures!
"Uh, Mom I can't keep taking pictures, I'm trying to bake here"

And she wonders why her cookies burn! :)

Guess Who Got Mail?!

Yep, I know Mom has once again dropped the ball on sharing my stories. I'm sorry and I'd like to say that will be the last time, but we all the know the truth to that! :)

Back me to me...

So before Christmas, I received TWO very special packages addressed to yours truly...ME! I was beyond ecstatic when Dad called and told me I had mail waiting for me when I got home! Mom, Kellen and I were back in IA so I was antsy to get back home!

I'm pretty sure I barely had my leash off before I got to my packages!
The minute I saw the box, I knew it was a good one! I could just smell it!
After a little assistance with some scissors, yes I am that talented, I realized there were packages inside the package!
Could it get any better?!
As you know, I just love presents!
I'm almost confident my mouth was salivating by now! I was so excited to see what it was!!
I knew it!! TREATS!! But these weren't just any kind of treats, these were HOMEMADE treats!!
I wasn't the only one excited about these treats, Kellen thought he wanted to try them as too!
I'm about 98% sure he thinks he's a dog!
When I was going through the package I thought I saw some eyes staring at my when I was going after my treats, well sure enough...there was a fox staring at me!

Yes, Kellen got a new stocking cap and it's a fox!
Isn't he so cute!!
Then we kept digging, and Mom & Dad even got a treat...a Starbucks gift card!! Which the sender obviously knows I love my latte's as well! :)

So who is this first package from?!
My first parents! That's right! Mom still keeps in contact with these special people and they are frequent followers of my blog! I am so happy Mom & Dad have had the opportunity to get to know my 1st parents!! I have definitely scored with 2 sets of great parents!

My second package, a very special homemade Christmas card from my friend Diana and my furry friends!
Thanks for the sweet cards everyone!!

I feel so loved!
