SANTA!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Since we're "officially" in the Christmas season, I wanted to show my a very special person that I got to meet!!

On Monday it was bring your dog to meet Santa!! Sooo...
Off we went! I was a little confused to why Kellen joined, this night is supposed to be for dogs!!

Kellen thinks he's Mr. Tough Guy! He loves Santa on the TV, plates, clothes, and snow globes, but the minute he saw the Big Guy he froze!!
Me on the other hand, I was so excited I couldn't sit still!! I did my homework and went through the PetsSmart and Petco catalogs!! There's some awesome "Ugg" boots that I'm looking at!

So we finally get to the front of the line...
...put Kellen on Santa's lap and....

The whole mall heard him scream!
"Kellen, this man here is the one that brings us gifts. No straighten up!"

After one more attempt...
...Mom finally got the brilliant idea to take Kellen off Santa's lap! Really, what was your first clue, Mom?!

Kellen finally calmed down and I got my moment with Santa. Which I thought was the intention of this visit the entire time!
And as you can see, I got to tell Santa everything I wanted!! He even said he'd throw in a couple fresh tennis balls!! I'VE been a good girl!!

Oh I just love this jolly ol' fella!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

Yep, I'm still here! Mom was on her only little vacation. And when I say vacation I really mean she was just being lazy!! That's right, I called her out on it!

Well if you know the Wiederin's we love Fall AND CHRISTMAS! If Dad had it his way, the tree would've been up 3 weeks ago! Instead Mom compromised and we put it up last weekend!

And we don't do just a tree! Mom has 3 totes of Christmas decor! You'd think we lived in a 5,000 square foot house!
"Mom, these totes and tree box are kinda making me clostrifobic - oh by the way, these lights don't work!"

If you recall Christmas vacation, our apartment looks like a mini version of the Griswolds!

Let's start with the tree..
It's magnificent!

Then we have Frosty!
Mom is so proud of this!! Was this for Kellen or Mom, I'm pretty sure it's for Mom!

We have to have a Santa sign!!
If you look close, there's a Santa picture too! (Stay tuned for this years pic!)

And yes, Kellen and I have our own tree!! Mom and Dad said we share the tree!! We all know the truth, it's actually mine! :)
If you've never slept by the tree, do it! It's the best sleep I've ever had! And that's saying a lot!

And of course my favorite...
I just love my family!!

Yes, I WILL have another post this week...I promise!!!

Fall Favorites!

I want to share with you some of my favorite fall photos! And of course I'm in the majority of them...I'm the one that makes them look so good!!

Enjoy!
I love my lunchtime walks with Mom!

Who wouldn't love a picture of Papa, Kellen, and a tractor!
I will admit, though I'm not in it, it's a pretty cool picture!! Nice work Mom!

This next picture summarizes my patience when Kellen thinks he should be part of my personal photo shoot!
"Kellen, if you're going to interrupt, please pay attention!"

Finally, back to just ME!
This is calendar worthy!

Sunshine and kisses from Mom, best day ever!
I love my Mom so much!!

Back to Kellen thinking he needs to be part of my shoot!
"Dude, do you not remember how to look at Mom and say cheeese?!" I guess I'll take the snuggles! ;)

Here's to many more fall photo sessions to come!!

Trick-or-TREAT!!

Another Halloween in the books! And guess what, I wasn't an astronot for the 5th time!! Oh no, I was Kellen's medical patient!!
I'm not sure what's worse, astronot for the 5th time or wrapped in gauze looking like a mummy dog! I'm just glad Dad was suffering the same look!

Then came the actual trick-or-treating! I opted to stay in, I think I'm getting too old for this costume thing. And I think Kellen should've taken my advice...

It started off well, just checking out this monkey next to him...
"Did your parents have the candy talk with you, about picking out THEIR favorites? Excuse me, I'm doing the work of going to the door, I'll get what I want!"

Then Kellen got a little too excited, maybe too may Kit-Kats and chose to see what the cement was like.
Yep, skinned up his forehead, nose, and lip! I tried telling him to just stay in. But noooo!

After a dose of Tylenol, resilient Kellen was back out there!
And of course I was there to make sure he said trick-or treat!! He just went straight to the treat!!

I knew we were related!! ;)
