I Stole Her Heart...

You see, my Grandma Bonnie wasn't and I think I'm safe to say, still isn't much of a dog fan!! When I first came home to my furever home, I think she was a little surprised to see me!

Mom and Dad obviously didn't tell them about me when they invited them over for ice-cream that first night!! Anyways, after about 5 minutes of showing her how SWEET I am, she fell deeply in love with me!

 She wuffs me so much that 9 times out of 10, she brings me special treats from the doggy store when she comes to visit!

I sit real nicely for her, shake, and POOF I get a treat...it's easy as that!

But during the time I'm sitting and shaking my taste buds are going CRRAZZY!! Like humans, us dogs have this involuntary action where we can't control our drool when we see something we really want!

Lucky for me, I have my personal "Molly Maid" at my side to clean up after me!

He must not realize that it WILL dry eventually!

My Grandma Bonnie wuffs me so much that when she came to visit last night, she brought an EXTRA big treat along with 2 itsy, bitsy ones!

But Mom being Mom, had to put her foot down and tell Grandma the BIG treat had to wait!

If I was at Grandma's hosue, she'd let me eat it and not have to wait! I think I need to go back to Grandma's....REAL SOON!!

See, you just never know what a sweet smile and maybe a little perseverance can do!

I think I'm safe to say I may be her fur-orite grand-dog! :)

Slumber Paw-ty!

Last night Mom and Dad surprised me and we all had a slumber paw-ty together!! Our paw-ties are always fun! Dad brings down the guest bedroom mattress and my bed and we "camp" out on the floor in the living room. 

I know, we know how to ruff it!

Mom and Dad always know what makes me happy!!

 

Now we can't have a slumber pawty without watching one of my all time favorites...

Any guesses?!?

That's right...AirBuddies!

Not SpookieBuddies...that gave me bad dreams last time!

Now I think there is a reason to why we had a slumber pawty last night! It has something to do with how the guest bedroom will become my baby brother's room and how my Aunt Stacy is taking the bed to college!?!

How are we ever going to ruff it for the next time?!

 

This little guy is taking over already! It's OK though, I love him already!!

TDIM!!

Thank Dog It's Monday!!

 

Monday is my favorite day of the week! Monday means Daddy is home for 4 days straight with me!

You see, my Daddy is a life saver! He not only rescued me, but he saves lives at work every night!! He even gave up every weekend to save other people's lives! And you think I'm amazing?!

He's tried telling me what he does and showing me pictures of some heart rhythms or something, but those just make my eyes go crazy. 

 

Anyways, every Saturday and Sunday morning I wait in anticipation for Daddy's arrival! 

The minute I see Daddy's car I go crazy!!

 

From the window I go straight to the stairs and wait patiently, AGAIN!

As soon as Daddy shuts the garage door and makes his way upstairs, the happy growls begin and my tail goes CRRAAZZY!!

But every morning when he gets home, we have this really special moment...it involves me sitting, shaking and getting a TREAT!!
 

On Saturday's and Sunday's Mommy does a really good job of letting him sleep as long as he can! Fortunately for me, Mommy goes back to work on Monday's and I get to wake up Daddy!! I normally let him sleep about 4 or 5 hours...if he's lucky! I just politely tip toe into the room and rest my head on the bed (I may breathe a little louder than normal just incase)....

It works EVERY time!!

Snooki's...

Now do not worry, this is NOT about that Snooki girl from that Jersey something show!

This is about ICE CREAM at Snooki's!!

 

Last night Mom and I were out doing some errands and we just happened to  be about 15 minutes away from Snooki's, so we thought, why not?!
We may or may not have passed a few other ice cream places, but NOTHING beats Snooki's!

 Do you understand why, now?! They have Puppy Cones!!!

I was so focused on my cone I couldn't even look at Mom!

Does my mom not understand how badly I wanted that cone.  I did not have time for pictures! BUT because I wuff her, I let her grab a picture...QUICK!

The minute I heard "O" I snatched that cone up so fast she couldn't even finish the "K"!  

Oh was it yummy let me tell you! But I got a bit of an ice cream headache I think...it was so worth it though!

A Day at Camp

WARNING...My day was PAWSOME, so I'm a bit chatty!

 

So today was my big day at Doggy Daycamp! Mom kept calling it Doggy Daycare, but I reminded her I don't go to daycare at my age!

 

The morning started off with a "Cup of Joe".  I figured I needed some extra energy to keep up with all them young pups I'd be hanging out with for the day!

Then off we went to Daycamp at Dogwood's Lodge, I was so excited to get there!

You'd think Mom was dropping me off for my first day of Kindergarten or something....she says it was just the "hormones"...RIIIGHT!  

What I DIDN'T know is that she was able to watch me all day long...Uhhh Creepy?! I can't get away with anything, good thing I was a good girl!  

"Hi, Mom! These are my new furiends, now get back to work already!"

Let me tell you, good thing those Puppy Latte's are free at Starbucks! I would need like 100 Puppy Latte's to keep up with all them young pups! I'm was perfectly OK with being the "Little Old Lady" making sure all the kids were playing nicely! (I'm the only way laying down by the fence :) )

 

Remember yesterday I told you I was getting my teeth cleaned...

This was the same smile I gave my Mom when she came to pick me up!! I had a blast at Daycamp, but boy was I excited to see my Mom!!

 

Uffda, what a day! I can hardly keep one eye open!

I am perfectly fine with a lazy Friday with my Daddy!!

This week has been a pretty big week for me! I started my own blog and officially launched my PAWsitive Effect Flower Delivery Service!

 

It just happened that my Dad was my first client and my Mom was the special recipient!

I think I had a PAWsitive effect on her day!

 

She then came home and we had the flowers nicely displaced with a special note and some sparkling champagne...since she can't have real champagne of course!

 

Now the phone has been barking off the hook, so please be patient as we monitor each call! Your call is very important to me!

A Few of My NOT so Favorite Things...

I hope you enjoyed all my favorites yesterday! I wuff my treats, sleep and ball!

 

Now on to my "Not so Favorite" things! We all have a few things that we could live without and life would be that much more wonderful! These are mine...

 

I am a very content and just go with the flow type of dog, but there are times where I just ask myself "REALLY?"

I wonder if Mom and Dad will ever realize I'm not a STUFFED dog...I do have feelings you know!

 

I AM a girl, so there are times I may or may not have just a little attitude...

I've been told I will need to set a better example once by baby brother comes!

If they only knew all the things I have planned for the little guy and I to do! 

 

Mom, I know you think the fireworks are pretty, but you're crazy if you think I'm coming outside with those loud booms! I'm safe inside, good luck to you and Dad!

 Last but definitely not least...THUNDER! Last night did NOT rank up there as one of my favorite nights! Mom did sleep with me on the floor with me which helped, but only until midnight!
How does she know another storm isn't just going to POP right on us!?

This is "The Look" I give Mom and Dad when I hear the first rumble!

"Please tell me that was just a big truck that went by, right?!?!"

 

 Dad, I know I'm color blind, but I have this extra dog sense and can sense the change of the barometric pressure.  And let me tell you, that image and my sensors are now in full overload!

A Few of My Favorite Things...

I'm kinda liking this blogging thing...it really allows me to express myself!

Now on to share with you a few of my favorite things.  You may or may not catch on...

 I promise, I don't sleep ALL day... 

  

Mommy thinks I'm a Daddy's Girl...I think it just depends

who gives me the most treats!!

  Oh yeah...Popcorn and a Puppy Latte!! Talk about a 5 Hour Energy drink..WOWZERS!

 

 

Speaking of ice cream...I could really go for some right now! I wonder if Mommy's craving that right now!  

 

 It never fails...put a tennis ball on the dishwasher door and they are bound to throw it back!

Man I'm smart! :)

 

Did I mention I can be a bit of a Princess? 

 

And people think I'm spoiled?!

 

 But NOTHING beats sitting on the lawn chair on a beautiful morning!
