So I told you I'm going to be a big sister in October. Well what I didn't realize is this little guy, who isn't even here yet, is taking over my extra bedroom! Granted I don't sleep in the room every night, but it's nice to have in case it storms and Mom wants to snuggle with me in bed! But since I don't sleep in that room, I suppose I'll let my parents continue on with their planning!
The planning started about a month ago when they decided to paint the bedroom! I was cool with that, it was a very nice color and my bed was still there! But then YESTERDAY happened...I was sound asleep downstairs when I heard some ruckus coming from upstairs, so I went upstairs to make sure everything was ok and this is what I came up to...
MY BED WAS GONE!!!!!
(Mom's pretty embarrassed by the mess, so please excuse the mess)
I couldn't believe it! How dare they!?
I was so distraught I wouldn't even lay in the room at first without my bed in there!
Finally after a little convincing, I made my way in to what is now called "The Nursery". After walking around and realizing all the space there was, I kinda felt guilty for being such a bad big sister already!!
Mom reminded me they are going to get me a special bed to lay by my baby brother's bed, that way I can sleep next to him! Once she told me that, I was perfectly fine with changing this room into the little guy's room!
Mom and Dad keep talking about how they're going to decorate. I think they should just let me run with it...I do watch a lot of HGTV in my spare time!!
Now if I heard it correctly, the little guy's crib might be assembled this week! I'll be sure to have my tool belt and hard hat just in case....Safety First! :)
